  • Frenchtown School District K8 Visual Art Teacher - Frenchtown, MT (2023 - Present)

    • Social and emotional learning through art collaboration with school counselors.

    • Spearheaded district-wide professional development and resource-sharing events for 100+ educators.

    • Advised Art Justice, a student-led group focused on social justice education through art and storytelling.

    • Department Chair managing 8 educators, developed a clear vision for music, art, and physical education.

    • Learning Team leader, developed methods for grade-level improvements based on school-wide data.

    • Social Media account manager, building community engagement and connection to the arts.

    • Cultivated and taught lessons in Spanish to over 150 Spanish-speaking English language learners per year for an accessible and meaningful arts education.

    • Budget management for assemblies, the art department, and the positive behavioral support intervention team.

    • Piloted a video technology program where students developed skills in storytelling, storyboarding, writing, use of a camera, public speaking, and Adobe Premiere.

    • Collaborated with instructors in core subjects to create interdisciplinary lessons.

    • Implemented lessons with a strong focus on inclusive and adaptive materials and methods of expression by providing multiple modifications to each lesson and assessment.

    • Developed and taught lessons in Spanish to Spanish-speaking English Learners for an accessible and meaningful arts education.
